Ex-International Probiotics Association (IPA) director general Ioannis Misopoulos has taken a business development role at Michigan-based probiotics manufacturer, Daily Body Restore.

Misopoulos was IPA chief for 7.5 years before resigning last year as the group with more than 50 members returned its global HQ to North America and merged its European chapter with the Global Alliance for Probiotics (GAP) and the Yoghurt Live Fermented Milks Association (YLFA).

Daily Body Restore CEO Kim Shafer said Misopoulos’s “combined efforts with our medical team will be a great asset in furthering our studies.”
